bad acting
Wow, Kate Beckinsale (or however u spell her last name) really cannot act. I'm watching Van Helsing now and she can't even cry convincingly. She's getting money for this? I can get money for this and probably be more convincing than her and I CAN'T ACT as well. She was horrible in Underworld too... so what is she good at? just those fluffy roles where she doesn't really need to do much emoting..

I notice you don't get many comments on your posts, so I thought I'd contribute!
No, Kate Beckinsale can't act, but she's cute as a button, which works for me.
Ikea is brilliant, but you'll have to buy new furniture in about 18 months' time (chipboards and plywood don't really count as furniture).
I hope you don't spend too much time indoors on Friday night! There's a gweilo place (Lyndhurst Terrace or some fancy schmancy name like that) where there are some nice pubs. And there's also an area where journos and PR people hang out (but I don't reckon that's your scene). And maybe you'll find some nice bloke one day. Go join the Singapore expat club! On a related note, Mini Cooper Marc's wife is trying to arrange a blind date for me and her colleague. Go figure.
Ok, i'll be off soon. In case you're wondering why I'm up so early on Sat morning (in case the time stamp thing does work!), I just went for my IPPT (and passed!) and I'll be busy filming the rest of the day. The St. Andrew's Community Hospital (whose affiliated church I belong to) is putting together a corporate video. Kinda like NKF, but with less emotion and dodginess. I'm thinking we have the ah-mas sit round a table playing mahjong, one of them in a wheelchair with a drip hanging by the side, and another with a fag hanging off the side of her mouth. Then we have 'Sympathique' as the accompanying track. But I don't think that will go down well with the pastoral staff.
