Excessive shopping

Xinxin (my fren who flies with SQ) had a stopover here in HK en route from San Fran to Sin. It was a 2 day stopover so I met up with her on Monday & Tuesday to catch up and do some shopping!

I met her first at CWB outside the huge Giordano on my street and we went to Island Beverly centre... to Izzue where we spent a long time in there trying to chalk up HK$1000 so we can get a VIP card (or rather I can get a VIP card). I bought a purplish pink long sleeve top with the word ROCK in diamantes and she bought the same in beige. I also got a pair of jeans at HK$280 (original $399) and she a denim mini skirt for a mere HK$150! We topped off our purchases with unnecessary stuff like a plain orange tank top for me at HK$65 and a jacket for her husband at HK$180. Came up to HK$1011 but in order to get the VIP card, they needed my HK ID number and I couldn't remember it! So gotta go back there to apply again doh!

Speaking of which, I finally picked up my HK ID card and it's cool! Looks like a cash card with a chip embedded in it and thankfully I don't look too dorky in it though my hair is an absolute mess!

Anyhow, I stayed over with XX at her hotel room to catch up after shopping in CWB and her coming over to look at my place. On Tues, I went straight to Mong Kok to meet her to bring her shopping at Argyle/Mongkok Centre. She already had her hands full of shopping from 'Ladies' Market' and continued the spree... not sure how much SHE bought but I ended up with two pairs of beige boots, 3 tops, another belt. Man I spent so much these few days, starting with my 2 tops at Times Square.... altogether over Sun - Tues, I've accumulated 7 tops, one pair of jeans, 2 pairs of boots and accessories... SOMEBODY STOP ME!

Wearing new outfit today and feeling good! heh! Dark purple long sleeve top (only HK$30!) and my new jeans & boots.... I look quite hongky! Ha ha!
