Bangkok and so much more

I take back all the unpleasant stuff I've said abt Savage Garden. Darren Hayes is actually very nice, I think he has mellowed over the years. He has gone off to the airport now and onwards to Scotland the lucky s.o.b. And to give him credit, he is actually a very good interviewee and a pretty damn good singer too. He made me wanna listen to some of the old Savage Garden songs again heh. *blush*

Am now trying to pack to go home. I've actually managed to get quite a bit of shopping done on my first day here in BKK so much so in the end I had to buy another suitcase. Figured there is no point putting it off so bought a cabin luggage sized Samsonite. It's the same price as the one I saw in HK so just buy lah! I'll be making such short trips frequently ( i think) and i can't possibly use the one i have now coz it's not very stable anyway. So will just think of it as an investment.

Managed to sort out some Xmas shopping so am quite pleased. The hotel is very near Patpong market so I have gone to check it out on Sat & Sun night but frankly find that there is nothing much to buy there. I don't wanna buy fake Guccis and fake LVs! Went to MBK, Siam Centre and bought some stuff that will make good xmas pressies. I am quite broke - had to go to the money changer a couple of times coz I didn't change enough money. Doh!

Leaving tmrw afternoon so need to seize whatever time i have left in BKK! It's a toss up between
1) Thai massage
2) Mani/Pedi
3) More shopping
or the one i'm trying to do the most --
4) WATCH HARRY POTTER

For those who do not know, Harry Potter will only open in theatres in HK on 23 Dec!
And since it's already showing in SG, by the time I go back to SG, the run will have finished and I won't be in HK to see it! Bloody irritating!
