Guest blog entry from Gary Gan

Gary wants to post on my blog.
Therefore I am allowing a guest post on this blog for him.
Here goes:

Hello! This is Gary, guest writer and editor for today's post.

So here I am in HK, far away from home, and living in someone else's! Jan's been very nice, putting me up at her place and taking me around town. I've spent a day and a quarter here, and I'm already broke. And I have three more days to go! Here's why. I came here on a mission to buy clothes. Well, ONE pair of blue jeans actually, and here's what I ended up buying:
- Lots of food
- More food
- A pin-striped jacket. I have to tell this story - Jan and I had already walked out of the store when the jacket in the shop window caught my eye. So we went back in. Then I saw the jackets on the rack, but I didn't see my size, and I was ready to walk out (again), until Jan went 'There's 'Small', duh'. So I tried them on and whaddaya know, they fit! It's almost impossible to find a jacket that fits straight off the rack, but this one did. The shoulders fit right and the sleeves are the correct length. Score!
- Blue jeans. I got these at the second izzue store we visited. We were at the first store but I didn't find anything. So we went to a bigger one and I did. And guess what, the jeans fit really well too! I usually have my jeans altered, but this pair was just about the right length, so I can get away without doing anything to them.
- A pair of Nike shoes for young Joey.
- T-shirts and boxers from Muji.

Ok, I shall not do anymore shopping over the next three days, and that's actually possible. I'll probably eat a lot and that's where my money will go. Alrighty, I'll end my post here. I'm making breakfast tomorrow (sausages, scrambled eggs, and tomatoes) and depending on how that goes, I'm sure you'll read Jan's take on it. Watch this space.
