In Bangkok

Here I am in Bangkok at the Dusit Thani Bangkok Hotel. Checked in at the club lounge like some important guest- haha . They put me in this room originally and when the guest manager went with me to the room, found out that there was something wrong with the room; the air con was leaking. So as nice as the Thais are, he showed me back to the club lounge where I can have some drinks & food while they sorted out another room for me. And whaddaya know, they are fully booked and have no more 'normal' rooms available so what do they do? Bump me up to a suite! Woohoo!

I know some of you may think this is a cheap thrill but wait till YOU get bumped up to a one bedroom suite! The closet alone is as big as my bathroom in HK and the bathroom is bigger than my HK bedroom. The bathroom connects the closet to the foyer and bedroom and I get TWO balconies - one in the living room and one in the bedroom! Haha! So shiok now I don't wanna go out, just wanna walk around this room! The hotel isn't exceptionally nice, it's a bit old actually but you can't complain about the size!

I'm sitting at the work desk at the living room area - machiam some important executive working on the laptop when in actual fact am bloggin away! Haha!

It's 12.35pm BKK time now and I should prob head out to get some shopping started and either get a massage or a mani/pedi done! Need to meet with the Thai team to run through the work stuff and work starts at 11am tomorrow! It should be interesting to see how the Thais do their promos, their autograph sessions, 'live' TV shows and showcase.

Flight was super full and this chick tried to take my aisle seat! (the window seats were fully taken up by the time I checked in) but I put my foot down and refused to settle for the middle seat! I get a bit claustrophobic when I sit between two strangers lah.

Watched Will & Grace and then Da Ali G show on the flight here and grabbed a 'limo' here. Hmrph why should I take the taxi? I'm here for work! :P

It's free unlimited access of internet from the room anyway so I should be online again tonight or tomorrow after work. Wish me luck with work!

Sawadeeka!
