Happy yogi!
I made an amazing progress in my yoga today!
Sometimes we are asked to do 'shoulder stand' which looks something like this
Then today I pushed myself a wee bit harder and I FINALLY managed to push my legs to touch the floor behind my head! (I apologize for not uploading pictures but I dun wanna get freaking sued so please click the links to see the pictures so you know what I am talking about. Descriptive style has never been my forte in essay writing) To see this yoga pose, click here. This guy is doing much better than me coz his legs are really straight which is the ideal pose but I think I might get there one day. And we generally do it flat on the floor, I think he is an expert what with him being elevated whoa!

(Ooohhh I found an animated gif - this is awesome!)Anyway who cares? Hahahaha I'm so pleased! I couldn't do it previously and I thought it was coz my tummy was getting in the way. I couldn't fold myself into half and I would turn my head awkwardly during class in annoyance at other people folding themselves EFFORTLESSLY into half and freeing their hands while I struggle to support my back and legs up in the air, desperately trying for my damn toes to touch the floor behind my head!
Alright this was a bit of a silly post. No wonder nobody reads/comments on my blog anymore. :P

Heh. I totally understand the thrill! You'll be more and more chuffed and smile quietly to yourself when you manage to contort yourself into more poses. Hello flexibility :)

i FULLY understand the 'tummy-in-the-way' part. haha. i did something like that in the warm-down part of the kick-box session. i ended up looking like an idiot with d ass in the air and peering in btwn my legs!
