News from around the world

It seems that these days, there are more bad news than good news in the world. I watch Channel NewsAsia every morning while getting ready for work and they will run through some news headlines at 9am and this morning, all the news was bad news.

Floods in China, causing deaths. Flash flood in Malaysia, injuring people when tree branches broke, fell and hit someone. Ferry disaster in Philippines, but shit always happen in that country. The gun shooting in USA that killed 6 including 2 infants - why hasn't that country learnt by now that they should just prohibit guns altogether to prevent incidents like this from happening so damn frequently? Bombs going off in the Middle East - but what's new? It'll be a news day if no bombs go off in that area for a day.

Sigh, it's just overall depressing lah. I don't think I'm the sort who wants to make the world a better place but still, it's just that our future in this earth looks a bit too bleak.

Bleah.

I HAVE MONDAY BLUES I THINK!

But!!! I'm going back to SG this weekend! Scored meself a cheap SQ ticket so I'm going back for a few days! No I won't be doing late night drinks since the last time I did, I fell so damn violently ill. UH UH! I'm gonna be healthier this time round. G & I will just go watch a movie, chill out and hang out!
