We were off to a rocky start at the beginning of the trip here in China. In any case, it got sorted out and if I can get some bloody dinner now (I called room service like... 45 minutes ago!!!), perhaps I can find some energy to blog about it.

Shanghai is a lovely freezing 1 - 5 degrees, and it's snowing! It's not like what you see in the movies/on TV but it's just tiny flakes of snow but still - snow! Beijing is colder though not snowing, it is apparently -1 degrees! Lovely... we are heading there on Tuesday...the extreme cold is still a bit of a shock to my body despite me layering and wearing my best thick overcoat and scarf....

I AM BLOODY IRRITATED WITH THE LOUSY ROOM SERVICE! I want to eat something before I shower and go to bed! CRAP!!! I have already called and given them grief and short of me going there and actually helping the kitchen personally I doubt my food will reach me anytime soon. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel! AARGHHHHHHH!!
