Death Cab for Cutie

They played at Esplanade last night and what a show! I am glad that it does not take any funky effects, million dollar stage set up to put up a good show - and it was easily one of the best gigs I've seen this year!

G went with me without really knowing any of the songs despite me leaving the PLANS album in the car when I was away in Malaysia so he can start to know the songs. He could only tell me "I like the 'Follow You into the Dark' song...'! Riggghhht! But once the band started playing, even if you do not know the songs, you can tell that they are an excellent 'live' band. G brought along binoculars (since we had cheap but good seats), but it's not like they were good looking chaps or there was much going on on stage for us to look at. Just 4 guys putting up a great show! For just $71 each, it was worth every cent though I know it's not everyone's cuppa tea. I'm pretty sure my sisters would be quite WTF if they attended this concert haha but G & I figured our brothers would enjoy it heh heh.
